Terri Reese is a lifelong Atlantic County resident, single mom, and former retail leader turned advocate. With over 30 years of experience managing teams and solving real-world problems for major national retailers and local small businesses, she knows the struggles of working families firsthand—from caregiving for aging parents and raising a child with mental health challenges, to navigating job loss and healthcare gaps. Terri isn’t a politician—she’s one of us. She’s running for Congress to bring honesty, compassion, and common-sense solutions back to government—because the people of South Jersey deserve better.
Everyone deserves a fair shot, not just the wealthy and well-connected.
Bold measures need to be taken to make life more affordable for working families, not billionaires. That means closing tax loopholes for the ultra-rich, ending corporate handouts, and lifting the burden off the middle class. We need a tax system that works for us, not against us, and policies that ensure everyday people can thrive, not just survive.
Health care is a human right—not a privilege for the wealthy.
I fully support universal health care because no one should have to choose between seeing a doctor and paying their bills. Other developed countries make it work by asking the ultra-rich to pay their fair share—and we can, too. It's time we put people before profits and build a system that covers everyone, with dignity and compassion.
Clean air, safe water, and a healthy environment shouldn’t be controversial, they should be guaranteed.
I believe protecting our environment means protecting our communities. That includes investing in clean energy, holding polluters accountable, and making sure every family, no matter their ZIP code, has access to safe, green spaces. Our future depends on the choices we make today, and I’m committed to putting people and planet first.
I’m not running to play political games, I’m running to serve the people.
Too many politicians put party loyalty and special interests ahead of the communities they’re supposed to represent. I believe in putting people first, always. That means listening, leading with empathy, and fighting for policies that actually improve lives. It’s time we bring integrity and accountability back to public service.
Our immigration system is broken, but cruelty is not the solution. I support comprehensive reform that treats immigrants with dignity, keeps families together, and creates a fair, humane path to citizenship. Immigrants contribute to our economy, pay taxes, and strengthen our communities. It’s time we stop scapegoating them and start honoring our values as a nation built by immigrants.
The federal government must be a strong partner to states in ensuring every child has access to a safe, high-quality public education. That means increased funding for school infrastructure, mental health resources, and programs that support both students and educators. We need to prioritize classroom safety, not just from violence, but from overcrowding, crumbling buildings, and underfunding. Washington should empower public schools, not politicize them, because our kids' futures depend on it.
I’m relying on small-dollar donations from folks who believe in a better future—not corporate interests or dark money. Every contribution means the world to me, and I’m truly grateful for your support. Thank you for standing with me.
Terri is eager to meet with neighbors, listen to their concerns, and share her vision for South Jersey. If you're hosting a local gathering, she'd be honored to attend, just reach out and let us know!
